RALLYSCHOOL.CO.UK BTRDA Rally First Championship
RALLYSCHOOL.CO.UK have long been associated with BTRDA Rally First and their cars have formed a significant proportion of the Rally First entries on many events. They have now taken their involvement to another level by sponsoring the BTRDA Rally First Championship and providing very welcome addition support for competitors.
Thanks to their generosity, on all the championship events in 2012 there will be a Rally First prize fund which will provide 100 pounds to each of the first five drivers registered in the RALLYSCHOOL.CO.UK BTRDA Rally First Championship.
BTRDA Rally First is now in its 5th year and continues to provide the most affordable option for competitors who want to compete on the best one day forest events. The partnership with the F1000 Rally Club to jointly run the F1000 Forest Rally Championship on BTRDA Rally First events also continues in 2012.
Some of the benefits of Rally First include:-
- The BTRDA Rally First / F1000 Technical Regulations limit performance enhancements which minimise preparation costs and provide a more level competitive playing field.
- BTRDA Rally First competitors receive a 50 pound reduction in entry fees on all BTRDA Rally Series events. Plus there are free entries worth more than 3,500 pounds to be won.
- The much reduced preparation and running costs make BTRDA Rally First / F1000 an affordable option even with a limited budget. Competitors confirm using a minimal number of tyres in a season and a tank of pump fuel per event.
- For those who prefer to hire a rally car and leave the preparation to others there are good deals on offer. This reflects the lower preparation and running costs of a Rally First car.
- BTRDA Rally First cars have proved very reliable with a 90% finishing rate.
There is also a Rally First class in the SWISHER MSA English Rally Championship which is particularly significant because the English Rally Championship is class based, so it is possible to win a MSA Rally Championship title with a BTRDA Rally First car.
