The Final Awards for 2011

As well as all the Silverstone Tyres BTRDA Rally Series and Swisher MSA English Rally Championship awards that were handed out on Saturday evening there were a number of Special Awards which were presented on behalf of the BTRDA Rally Committee. 

Bill Turner Trophy for best event of the year.  Woodpecker Stages Rally 

Ian Butcher Trophy for best performance in first season with BTRDA.   Tom Cave 

Mickey Dee Trophy for most entertaining competitor.  Boyd Kershaw

Richie Holfeld Maximum Attack Trophy.  Alan McDowall

Phil Price Trophy  for Rally Man of the Year.   Andy Burton

Thanks to everyone who came to the Awards Presentation and especially to Andy Burton (and team) who provided such an entertaining finale.  We hope everyone had an enjoyable evening.

We have already confirmed the support of REIS and Get Connected as joint title sponsors for the BTRDA Rally Series for the next 2 years.  As part of the sponsorship package all rounds of the BTRDA Rally Series will be televised in conjunction with Special Stage, with full one hour programmes shown on Motors TV.
