Contact details for all the events can be found on www.btrdarally.com
Marshals can claim points by completing a simple claim sheet and submitting it by e-mail (or post) to the BTRDA Rally Series Marshals Co-ordinator, Chris Wright within 4 weeks of the event. A claim form is available online at the BTRDA Rally website or by post from Chris Wright.
Points will be scored on the following basis:
(A) A named Event Official or Stage Commander 10 points
(B) Other Senior Stage Officials and Timekeepers 8 points
(C) Stage and Event Marshals and Radio Crew 6 points
In the event of a tie the person who has supported the greatest number of BTRDA Rally Series events will be the winner. If a tie still remains, then the winners will be drawn out of a hat.
A Marshals Points table will be published at regular intervals on www.btrdarally.com
A small prize fund has been set up and it is anticipated that competitors and supporting companies will also contribute. Prizes will be distributed to the top five marshals in proportion to the number of points scored at the end of the year and there will be an award to the top Junior marshal (under 21 years at 1st January 2011). The marshal / official who has most points in Marshals Cup will be invited to the BTRDA End of Season awards presentation.
Marshals Cup claimants will be asked to supply their name, email contact or address plus club and MSA Marshals Registration Number (if appropriate). This information may be held on a computer and made available only to the BTRDA Rally organisers (unless the person opts out under the Data Protection Act).
